Charaf /ʃaraf/
I’m an Algerian botanical artist and illustrator, a Mediterranean girl now living in the desert. I paint the natural world, plants and birds and living things, in traditional media, drawn from life. Slowly, and by hand.
Two landscapes live in me. The green, the salt, the abundance of one shore, and the ochre, the quiet light of the other. They meet in how I see, and in everything I make.
My work spans illustration, packaging, visual identities, and ateliers.

based in Doha. working everywhere.
